How To Promote Your Game With Android Promotion

What I have done so far is posting my app on Facebook, in a couple of related groups to get some feedback. This way, some people downloaded and do android reviews and tested my app and rated it, as well.

I also posted in on Linkedin and tried to spread the word among my friends.
Apart from that, some ASO is needed: You can see which are the key words used in other (similar to yours) apps having many android promotion downloads and then you can incorporate them in your text accordingly. You should even try to make the most out of the available characters for the app title.
As you want to get your app as much out there as you can, you could search for related blogs and ask them to check your app and write about it. You should go for blogs that are not that well known, because they will probably be more interested in helping you.
Begin by understanding your App's USPUSP is basically how business is different from others. It defines what your product/service stands for. For an app, this could mean defining what will users get from your app, how does your app solve the core problem of your target audience and how does your app stand out from the others.
The next thing you need to define is your Buyer Persona or what we call the customer persona.
In this step we define exactly who your customer is, and based on the same you can build targeted strategies. It takes into consideration factors like Name and Job Title, Demographics, Salary and location, Education and family and Goals.
and now comes the the real action:
  1. Reach Out To Journalists And Influencers by using twitter lists or a list of PR networks to submit the news of your app launch there.
  2. Focus On User Engagement And Retention by monitoring some metrics like Daily and monthly active users, retention rate and optimizing Cost of acquisition per user and customer lifetime value.
  3. Devise a social media plan that works for your android app promotion
  4. Set a referral marketing process in place
  1. Invest time in studying your competition
  2. Get your app store optimization right by keyword optimization and using Snapshots and icon which can clearly deliver your USP.
  3. Building an outreach/PR plan to spread the word about your product launch.
