The fastest way would be if you want legit downloads from android app promotion or pay Google Adwords or similar non-incentivised (when users aren’t paid for downloads) buy real app installs platforms. Actually 300,000 is a maximum because once your app reaches critical mass of downloads (10–50K) organic play store downloads will also come in and help you a lot. So even 100,000 USD will suffice.
This is how world works on average. You put work or money you got (probably from your work) and get results. If it was the other way around (if that’s even possible), everyone would have 1 million+ app downloads and no one would care.
If you don’t want to pay anything, it will be a much slower process, aim for:
- Higher app quality (get feedback and improve it continuously) so that users are willing to engage longer in your app and share it with friends;
- Giving incentives to download and share (coupon codes, discounts etc);
- Reach out a lot and everywhere you can.
HOWEVER, keep in mind that sometimes supposedly crappy apps get very popular on Play store and there’s a luck factor involved as well:
For example, Candy Crush was considered a failure by creators, they didn’t like the game and had very low expectations of it, so when they first checked the stats, they thought there was some kind of an error. Today it’s still one of the most popular Play Store games of all time with up to one billion downloads and 2 million android reviews. ..and Candy Crush is not alone.
To get started, I strongly recommend The Complete Android N Developer Course | Udemy. It takes you from knowing nothing to recreating most popular apps like Instagram, Uber, Flappy Bird, Twitter, WhatsApp etc.

I developed IQ Test - How intelligent are you? using the knowledge I acquired in this course. As a holiday gift, you can upgrade to premium version for FREE!
After just one week, app is #19 in United States (Education, Top New Free) and #17 in United Kingdom, TOP 50 in many other countries around the world.
There’s just so much we can do but the rest is outside of our control, especially in this relatively new and unknown area of mobile apps, and this is normal.
